Breaking News: Cure for Brain Cancer

WED., JUN. 5, 2013: JUST-RELEASED NATURAL HEALTH STUDY

POSSIBLE BREAKTHROUGH CURE FOR BRAIN CANCER: Scientists have released remarkable results of a study suggesting that, if further research is confirmatory, most patients with the most common and most aggressive form of brain cancer (glioblastoma) can be completely cured within a few months after a brief treatment that involves injecting the brain with the seemingly most unlikely of substances: the polio virus. (Note that the infusion used in this clinical human study is the polio virus, not the polio vaccine. In contrast to the new polio treatment, about 50 percent of glioblastoma patients have a recurrence of their disease within eight weeks of traditional treatments.) The modified polio virus is harmless to normal cells but infects and attacks cancer cells. It also triggers the immune system to attack the polio-infected tumor cells. Scientists infused the virus into seven human brain cancer patients. The cancer was completely eradicated in five patients who have remained cancer-free for up to one year. Only two patients did not respond to therapy. The findings were presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting in Chicago. This study will not be available until it is later published in a peer-reviewed medical journal.
